Looked at optimistically, the Prius C is admirably small and low-priced for a hybrid. However, Consumer Reports has scored it too low to recommend because of a rough ride, noisiness, sluggish acceleration, little cargo space and cheap interior fittings.
So is the glass half full or half empty? I suppose that depends on whether you already bought one.
