This magazine critiques the press — and generally does a better job of it than anyone else. CJR champions accountability journalism over access journalism. Unfortunately, relatively little attention is paid to automotive journalism.
I’ve raised questions about a 2013 cover story that declares America’s “love affair” with the car is over. Nevertheless, this magazine is a refreshing reminder that journalism standards should still matter even in the wild west of the Internet Age.
