This nonprofit organization has been collecting and posting on its website brochures, advertisements, technical information and public relations materials since 2010. The range of materials for American cars is less comprehensive than the Old Car websites. However, the Preservation Society offers materials on imported brands.
Perhaps most interestingly, old car magazines are posted. To help build their library you can either donate or loan your materials to them. Financial donations are tax deductible. The website also includes a virtual store that sells posters as well as old brochures and magazines.
Dean’s Garage (2019) recently posted a handful of 1964-69 Car Life magazine articles that were drawn from the society’s collection. The organization is still seeking pre-1961 magazines after having secured “almost everyone from 1961–1989 in paper already.”
