Indie Auto’s “Links” section has been significantly updated and expanded. I have added new sources as well as Twitter and YouTube pages for those media outlets that offer them. I have also added new categories to make it easier to sort through the listings.
In all honesty, the main reason I created the “Links” section was to make it easier for me to quickly find sources I use as part of my own research. However, because Indie Auto is intended to be an educational resource rather than a commodity, I’m sharing this information with interested readers.
Yes, we have gaps
You don’t have to be a serious writer of automotive histories to notice gaps in Indie Auto’s bibliography of links. As mentioned here, the intent is not to duplicate the efforts of others, such as an excellent links page published by the Society of Automotive Historians. Indie Auto’s focus is narrower: the American automobile, particularly after World War II.
Feel free to suggest additional media outlets, tell me about a broken link, or let me know your view about a source already mentioned. Post a comment or contact me here.
