I don’t doubt for a minute this has already been proposed and that there’s either a sketch or a full mockup of it somewhere, probably named the Mustang M-150. Hell, they should go ahead and resurrect the Crown Vic name for an ultra-luxe version, featuring a stainless steel “roll bar” with LED lighting (aka tiara and opera lights).

That reminds me then I think Ford had missed a good opportunity, the 1981 Durango was a good indication for a Fox-body Ranchero for the 1980s based on the Fairmont, Fox-body LTD and the Mustang.
