“Oversized grill that vacuums up road debris”? I thought that was the 1958 Packard Hawk?
Perhaps the 1958 Packard Hawk inspired the Toyota Crown designers?
To my eyes, the tragedy of the Packard Hawk’s grille was that it would have looked okay if it had been perhaps four inches narrower. As it stands, the grille looks like a kid who puts his fingers on each side of his mouth and stretches his lips as wide as he can.
