It’s often a mystery as to why an article gets so many page hits. For example, over the last few days our piece on the 1963-64 Chrysler New Yorker Salon has been quite popular. I don’t know where folks are coming from, but welcome to Indie Auto. To better understand the method to our madness, read this.
I have received a number of questions about how to sign up for our weekly e-newsletter. Click here, scroll down and fill out the form. As always, let me know if something doesn’t work like it is supposed to.
Since we’re talking bureaucratic matters, I recently made some changes to how you can make donations to Indie Auto. To simplify things I dropped Paypal in favor of Stripe. I also reset the controls so that new donors can only make a one-time donation rather than a recurring one. That will likely reduce renewals but I want to avoid any misunderstandings.
I recently paid Indie Auto’s quarterly sales taxes, so this is a good time to once again thank those who have made a donation. We don’t run advertising (at least that isn’t satirical), so the survival of this website depends upon readers showing their support. If you would like to make a donation, go here.
